Ballinrobe Racecourse

Ballinrobe is situated 30 miles from Galway City, and just six miles from the Mayo/Galway border. The course has a rare rustic feel to it - Loughs Corrib, Carra and Mask are within a few miles.

Ballinrobe has a history dating back to 1774 with the present course was purchased in 1921 and the facilities have being updated as recently as 1998. One of the great features of the track is that from the Grand Stand, you look out on a charming course. You can see virtually every stride taken by the horses as they battle for victory.
